Frequently Asked Questions

Home » FAQ

The questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, call 0420 129 507 or send an enquiry — we would rather answer it than have you guess.

Can I buy directly from the website?

No. This site is a catalogue and an enquiry point, not a shop. There is no cart, no checkout and no payment of any kind on this website. You send us an enquiry, we send you a written quote, and supply is arranged separately.

Why are there no prices shown?

Because a single price would be misleading. What you pay depends on the analysis, the tonnage, the packaging and the freight to your address — and freight in particular can move the delivered cost substantially. Publishing a headline price that nobody actually pays helps no one, so we quote every enquiry individually.

What is the minimum order?

Minimum order is 10–25 MT, depending on the product and where it is going. Some analyses and some destinations carry a higher minimum than others, so tell us what you need and where it is headed and we will confirm before you commit to anything.

A full 20ft container sits at roughly 25 MT, which is normally the most economical way to buy — the freight cost per tonne drops sharply once the load is full.

Do you deliver to my area?

We deliver anywhere in Australia — every state and territory, metropolitan, regional and remote — from our base at Kapunda Rd, Hamilton in South Australia.

We also arrange international shipping worldwide. See our delivery and freight page.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We arrange international shipping worldwide. Export consignments involve customs clearance and destination-country import requirements, and some fertiliser products carry additional documentation or restrictions depending on the destination. Tell us the country and the product early in your enquiry and we will confirm what is required before you commit to anything.

How long does delivery take?

Lead time is confirmed in writing with your quotation. If you have a spreading window to hit, tell us the date up front and we will tell you immediately whether we can meet it. Expect longer lead times in peak season, when freight tightens across the whole industry.

Can you blend to my soil test?

Yes. Send us the lab report along with the crop and area and we will match it to a product from our range, or specify a blend if no standard grade fits. See soil test matching and custom blending.

Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis?

Yes, on request, issued against the batch you actually receive rather than a generic sample. If you have a specific certification or documentation requirement, tell us in your enquiry and we will confirm what we can provide before you commit.

What is the difference between a compound and a blended fertiliser?

In a compound fertiliser every granule contains the full nutrient ratio, because the nutrients are combined chemically during manufacture. In a blended fertiliser, granules of different straight products are physically mixed together. Compounds give you a more uniform spread pattern and no risk of the components separating in transit; blends are more flexible and generally cheaper, because the ratio can be set to whatever you need.

Do you supply home gardeners, or only commercial growers?

Our range is packaged and priced for commercial quantities — growers, resellers and agronomy businesses. If you are after a small quantity, ask anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can help or point you somewhere that can.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer. Orders within Australia are paid by EFT to our Australian bank account; export orders are paid by T/T (telegraphic transfer).

You will never be asked to enter payment details on this website — there is no payment facility on it at all. Our bank details appear only on the invoice we issue you, and the payment terms that apply to your order, including any deposit, are set out on your written quotation.

Always verify our bank details by phone before you transfer. We will never change our account details by email alone. If you receive a message that appears to be from us with different account details, call 0420 129 507 and confirm before sending anything.

Do you accept letters of credit or PayPal?

Payment is by bank transfer only — EFT within Australia, T/T for export. We do not take card payments, PayPal or any online payment, and there is no checkout on this website. If your business requires a letter of credit or another instrument, raise it with your enquiry and we will tell you what we can accommodate before you commit.

Are you an importer, a manufacturer or a distributor?

Natures Fertilizer Pty Ltd is an Australian fertiliser blender and distributor. We blend here rather than import finished product, which is why the analysis can be matched to your soil test instead of being fixed by whatever arrived in the last container.

Can I collect from you instead of paying freight?

Ask when you enquire. If collecting saves you money on freight, we would rather tell you that than not.

How should I store fertiliser once it arrives?

Dry, off the ground and out of direct weather. Urea and ammonium-based products are hygroscopic — they draw moisture from the air and will set hard if left exposed. If you intend to store product for a while before spreading, mention it when you enquire and we will recommend packaging that suits.

Do you give agronomic advice?

No. We match products to a stated nutrient requirement and we will tell you if a blend is not sound to make, but we are not agronomists and nothing we provide is agronomic advice. Application rates and product selection should be confirmed with a qualified agronomist for your paddock, crop and season.
