Compound grades carry the full declared ratio in every granule, so the analysis cannot separate in transit or off the spinner. High tower compounds add a harder, rounder granule that throws evenly on wide spreading widths. Blended products mix straight fertilisers to any ratio, which is what makes matching a soil test possible. Water-soluble grades suit fertigation and foliar programs, and straights are supplied alone or built into your specification.

Calcium nitrate 15.5-0-0 supplied across Australia – nitrate nitrogen with readily available calcium, fully water soluble. Calcium nitrate supplies nitrogen in nitrate form, which the plant can take up immediately, alongside calcium in a form roots can actually access. It is the standard calcium source in fertigation and in horticulture, where calcium deficiency shows as blossom end rot in tomatoes and capsicum, bitter pit in apples, and tipburn in lettuce. Unlike lime, it corrects calcium without changing soil pH.
