Description
28-6-6 controlled release blended fertiliser is a controlled-release blend, coated so that nutrient is metered out over time rather than delivered all at once. The point is to match supply to what the crop can actually take up, which reduces the loss that follows a heavy single application and can remove the need for split dressings. It costs more per unit than an uncoated blend; it earns that back where leaching or volatilisation would otherwise waste the nitrogen. At 28% nitrogen against 6% phosphorus and 6% potassium, this is a nitrogen-dominant analysis: most of what you are buying and freighting is nitrogen. It is aimed at vegetative growth – canopy, tillering, leaf – where phosphorus and potassium are already adequate in the soil and a full ratio would be paying to deliver nutrient the crop does not need. Total nutrient content is 40 units. Supplied in bulk, bulka bags or bagged, minimum order 10 MT, delivered Australia-wide and shipped worldwide. A Certificate of Analysis and Safety Data Sheet are issued against the batch you receive.

Where 28-6-6 Controlled Release Blended Fertilizer Is Used
Nitrogen-led growth with supporting nutrition
Nitrogen leads this analysis, so it targets vegetative growth, but the phosphorus and potassium alongside it mean the crop is not left short elsewhere while the canopy builds. Useful where a straight nitrogen product would create a secondary deficiency.
Packing and Quantities
28-6-6 Controlled Release Blended Fertilizer is supplied in bulk, in 1,000 kg and 500 kg bulka bags, and in 50 kg and 25 kg bags. Minimum order is 10–25 MT, depending on the product and the destination. Packing formats, 20ft container loading figures, and bagging and marking are set out in full on our Delivery & Freight page.
Handling and Storage
Store 28-6-6 Controlled Release Blended Fertilizer dry, off the ground and out of direct weather. Nitrogen and ammonium-based fertilisers draw moisture from the air and will cake if left exposed — full handling and storage guidance is on the Delivery & Freight page.
28-6-6 Controlled Release Blended Fertilizer Data Sheet
A Certificate of Analysis for your delivered batch and the Safety Data Sheet are both available on request. The analysis in the data sheet is the nominal specification; where a Certificate of Analysis is issued for a batch, that certificate governs.
