NPK 25-0-8

25-0-8 compound fertiliser – nitrogen-led growth.

SKU: NPK-25-0-8
Category:

Description

NPK 25-0-8 is a compound fertiliser: all three major nutrients manufactured into a single product at a fixed ratio, rather than blended from separates. You buy one analysis and spread it once. That is the convenience, and it is also the limit – a compound cannot be adjusted, so it suits a soil whose test the ratio already fits. Where the test points somewhere else, blending to that ratio wastes less. At 25% nitrogen against 0% phosphorus and 8% potassium, this is a nitrogen-dominant analysis: most of what you are buying and freighting is nitrogen. It is aimed at vegetative growth – canopy, tillering, leaf – where phosphorus and potassium are already adequate in the soil and a full ratio would be paying to deliver nutrient the crop does not need. Total nutrient content is 33 units. Supplied in bulk, bulka bags or bagged, minimum order 10 MT, delivered Australia-wide and shipped worldwide. A Certificate of Analysis and Safety Data Sheet are issued against the batch you receive.

Nutrient Content of NPK 25-0-8

One tonne of NPK 25-0-8 supplies 250 kg of nitrogen (N), 0 kg of phosphate (P2O5) and 80 kg of potash (K2O) — a total of 33 nutrient units per 100 kg.

Nutrient supplied at different rates

What one hectare actually receives at a given spreading rate of NPK 25-0-8. Use it to work back from a nutrient target to a product rate.

Rate applied Nitrogen (N) Phosphate (P2O5) Potash (K2O)

Where NPK 25-0-8 Is Used

Nitrogen-led growth with supporting nutrition

Nitrogen leads this analysis, so it targets vegetative growth, but the phosphorus and potassium alongside it mean the crop is not left short elsewhere while the canopy builds. Useful where a straight nitrogen product would create a secondary deficiency.

Packing and Quantities

NPK 25-0-8 is supplied in bulk, in 1,000 kg and 500 kg bulka bags, and in 50 kg and 25 kg bags. Minimum order is 10–25 MT, depending on the product and the destination. Packing formats, 20ft container loading figures, and bagging and marking are set out in full on our Delivery & Freight page.

Handling and Storage

Store NPK 25-0-8 dry, off the ground and out of direct weather. Nitrogen and ammonium-based fertilisers draw moisture from the air and will cake if left exposed — full handling and storage guidance is on the Delivery & Freight page.

Request the Safety Data Sheet before handling NPK 25-0-8. Ask for it with your enquiry and we will supply it. The technical data sheet below is product specification only — it is not a Safety Data Sheet.

A Certificate of Analysis for your delivered batch and the Safety Data Sheet are both available on request. The analysis in the data sheet is the nominal specification; where a Certificate of Analysis is issued for a batch, that certificate governs.
